Gas access fees and system charges will be published separately . Until now, charges were implicit in the fees. From October, customers will be able to see the amount charged as charges on the back of their bill.
Access tolls or rates for access to the gas network are the cost that covers the activities of regasification, transportation, gas distribution and basic underground storage.
System charges are intended to finance other costs not directly linked to the use of the facilities.
The gas access tariff will be assigned to you based on consumption only and will no longer take into account the pressure of the network to which the supply is connected. This is relevant for industrial consumers who had a tariff group 1 or 2 because they were connected to high or medium pressure. Residential or commercial premises are always low pressure supplies.
For consumers connected to the low-pressure network, we have gone from having 4 access rates to having 6, based on gas consumption. And in total, the system now considers 11 consumption ranges for rate allocation.
