Today I've reserved a space on the blog to talk about privacy law. If you've made it this far, I assume you're curious about the topic, so in the following lines, I'll try to explain what a privacy policy is and what key aspects it should address . When it comes to personal data, we always keep in mind the Data Protection Law, which is closely bc data america related to the privacy policy. This applies both to the user's right to information regarding the processing of their personal data, regulated by Article 5 of the LOPD (Spanish Data Protection Act), and to the user's express consent to allow the use of said data, regulated by Article 6 of the LOPD (Spanish Data Protection Act). Once the user has read and accepted it, we will also be fulfilling our obligation to request the user's express, precise, and unequivocal consent.

*UPDATE* Since May 25, 2018, compliance with the LOPD (General Data Protection Act) (GDPR) has become mandatory . Not only must we comply with the Spanish LOPD law, but also with the new European regulation.
The privacy policy is that link, hidden in the footer of any self-respecting website, that when clicked on takes you to a page full of legal jargon that forms incomprehensible sentences and is almost impossible to read thanks to the dubious habit, for some unknown reason, of writing it in very, very small font. Or at least that's what most websites have accustomed us to. What it should be is quite another matter, and that's what I'm about to explain.
