What is the CHEMTREC authorization process?
The SDS Authorization Service has been strategically developed to serve chemical band database companies, regardless of their size or global reach. Whether your company has a few products sold regionally, or a wide range of formulations sold internationally, our skilled SDS Sales and Authorization Teams work closely with you to develop a customized pricing module that specifically meets your company’s needs. The service can be broken down into three distinct phases:
Initial Project Scoping: We encourage a quick initial meeting to help us gain a comprehensive understanding of your company's products and overall service expectations. This facilitates a two-way exchange where we introduce our reliable services and address any questions you may have.
Data Collection: We provide a streamlined process for obtaining necessary data to create the SDS.
SDS Drafting and Approval: CHEMTREC works diligently to provide draft SDSs for your review and approval. We prioritize customer satisfaction and always adhere to regulatory requirements, providing a seamless and worry-free experience.
What information is required for the 'Data Collection' step to create a Safety Data Sheet?
To comply with SDS regulations, CHEMTREC must perform a hazard classification for each product. This assessment requires the complete composition of the product (as close to 100% as possible) from the customer. We understand the importance of protecting trade secrets and have established security parameters to keep your information secure. Your proprietary information will be used for classification purposes and once a product classification is obtained; we will work with you to appropriately disclose this information while still complying with regulations.
