An indispensable extension for people who have many pages open for a long time. This allows you to set after which period a tab should stop loading. The tab remains in place, with favicon and title, but no new elements are loaded in the background.
This will save you a huge amount of memory, allowing you to browse much faster without having to close your tabs.

To end this list on a fun note, I'll share four more extensions for 'fun'.
1. Tab for a Cause
This is one you really need to have. Once you install this extension, every time you open a new tab you will be raising money for charity. The revenue from the banner ads in the tabs will be donated to a charity in the area of human rights, environment, education, water or health.

2. Googler
This extension recognizes faces and replaces the eyes with 'googly eyes'.

4. Scroll-O-Meter
This extension keeps track of how many kilometers you have scrolled in total. Fun thing is: a little figure runs along at the bottom of your screen as you scroll. After writing this article I had scrolled 0.033 km on web pages.
