Everything you need to know about labor bonuses in 2018

Post by jrine 01 »

We can understand employment bonuses as an incentive to hire employees and to start a business on their own. If certain requirements are met, we can benefit from a lower social security contribution.

The new law on self-employed workers has brought about some interesting changes in the field of employment bonuses. For this reason, Sage has prepared an infographic so that we do not miss out on the opportunities offered by this regulatory change.

Types of labor bonuses
There are two types of employment bonuses that can affect contributions : reductions and bonuses of Social Security contributions. Both share some common characteristics:

They are applied as a percentage of the lowest contribution rate.
They facilitate access to salaried or self-employed employment for certain groups
Both have the same bahrain email list 191152 contact leads effects (both for salaried or self-employed workers and for companies)
To access them you must be up to date with your Social Security obligations.
However, there is a financial difference . The reductions are paid for by Social Security, while the bonuses are financed by taxes, for example, through a budget allocated to a public body.

The labor bonuses of the new law for self-employed workers
This latest reform of the self-employed regime has brought about several new developments in the field of employment bonuses. We can see how they look in the attached infographic.

Flat rate
The famous 50 euro initial fee for self-employed workers has been extended for six more months, up to twelve . This means that we pay contributions as if we were paying the minimum fee, but we only pay that amount. After the first twelve months, we will continue to benefit from work bonuses, progressively reduced, as we can see in the attached infographic.

And, if we prefer, as an alternative to the flat rate of 50 euros, we can opt for a higher base. In that case, we would pay 80% less during the first twelve months. In the following two semesters, this incentive decreases to 50% and 30%.

Employment bonuses for certain groups
Disabled people and victims of gender violence or terrorism who register as self-employed can benefit from a 50 euro fee for one year. They can also opt for an 80% reduction in their fee, if they prefer a higher base than the minimum. Afterwards, they will enjoy a 50% bonus on the fee for common contingencies. To do so, they must not have been registered as self-employed for the previous two years.
