In its first year of operation, the Andalusian ICT Demonstration Centre "is serving as a catalyst for the promotion of new programmes and activities to establish an increasingly consolidated technological sector, with greater strength, based on the creation of synergies and supported by the cluster of ICT companies that ETICOM represents," explained Adolfo Borrero. All of this is focused on "the creation of new companies and the generation of employment and wealth."

Thanks to the different actions of the Andalusian ICT Demonstration Centre, companies are facilitated in their technological transition towards the new business model that Cloud Computing represents. To this end, "a complete infrastructure with large technological resources is made available to them, which allows us to lead the early take-off of Cloud Computing in Spain," said the president of ETICOM. Among these actions, it is worth highlighting the holding of more than 100 Cloud Computing Conferences last year, with more than 1,200 attendees, as well as the celebration of conferences specialising in Software Quality.
