Security Advisory on the Yahoo Breach
A massive Yahoo.com leak of over 500 million email accounts, including both credentials and security questions, has just been confirmed .
Mailfence, a secure and private webmail service , has been closely monitoring the events since initial suspicions , and also analyzing the impact these may have had on our users. As a result, we have decided to issue this Security Advisory regarding the Yahoo breach.

Yahoo.com leak: what to do if you are a user of their service
If your recovery email is a Yahoo address, this means list of australia whatsapp phone numbers that a compromise of your Yahoo address could lead to a compromise of your Mailfence account. We therefore recommend that you change your Yahoo Mail account password, and disable security questions .
If your compromised Yahoo account has a Mailfence account as its recovery email, this might have been changed (without you realizing it) and you would no longer be able to use your Mailfence account to recover your Yahoo account. Therefore, check your list of recovery email accounts, and make sure they have not been changed .
If you are using the same password for your Yahoo account with Mailfence or any other service, we recommend that you change all of those passwords and use strong, different passwords for each service you use .
Apply two-factor authentication to your Mailfence (and other) accounts for optimal security and check if your accounts have been compromised at haveibeenpawned / breachalarm .
