YoInstagram is testing a new feature that lets you discover a selection of reels your friends have liked . As Instagram CEO Adam special lead explained, this move aims to make " the social network experience not just passive, but participatory and social, where you truly explore your interests with your friends ."


A decision that fits in with Instagram's 2025 goals , which put special focus on fostering creativity and connection , as the social network aims to promote discovery and conversations around reels that represent a common interest between a user and their friends.

A new feed of Reels that your friends have liked
" We want Instagram to be not just a place where you consume entertaining content, but also a space where you connect with your friends through that content. Now, when you enter the Reels tab, you'll see a dedicated feed of the Reels your friends have liked or added a note to ," Mosseri explains.

To enjoy this option, simply go to the Reels tab and click the button that appears in the upper right corner of the screen, which displays your friends' icons. After this, you'll access a
