How to create an RSS feed for a blog

Post by kumartk »

The good news is that WordPress sites and most blogging software come with a built-in RSS feed, so you won't have to do much. At most, you'll be asked to enable the RSS feed.

If your website is powered by WordPress, you can view the RSS feed by simply adding /feed/ to the end of your website URL.

Otherwise, you have two more options:

You can encode the RSS feed yourself
Use a third-party RSS feed creator like Google Feedburner or FeedforAll
So now that your RSS feed is set up, let's get back to the task of luxembourg phone number list setting up your RSS emails.

Step 3: Connect your blog's RSS feed to Brevo
Enter the RSS feed URL. Press the Load RSS Feed button and then Continue.

If the URL is valid, you will be able to see the preformatted tag names of the RSS feed.

Step 4: Design your RSS email template
When it comes to RSS email templates, you have two options:

Using Brevo's default RSS template
Customize your own template from scratch

If you are new to RSS emails, it is best to use the default template as it contains the defined RSS content (i.e. the dynamic lists option and loop parameter are already set).

The dynamic lists option allows you to add placeholders to email campaigns to get a list of items that will be automatically generated.

For information on how to customize your RSS email using tags, please see our help center article .

Step 5: Select the recipient list to receive your RSS campaign

Step 6: Choose how often to send RSS emails
You can choose to send automatic RSS campaigns weekly, monthly, or every time a new blog post is published (for the latter option, simply select every day of the week).

Important: Remember to specify on your email signup form how often a subscriber will receive updates from your blog.
