Google has changed its search results for queries related to the coronavirus. In just a few weeks, a simple SERP with an SOS alert at the top has been transformed. Google continues to add elements to the results page, SOS alerts, help, information, prevention features: we were able to spot them for France after March 23.

SEMrush analyzed 30 of the most popular media platforms in France to identify which ones are benefiting the most from their COVID-19 coverage, and have managed to secure excellent median positions in Google. At the top of the ranking, we surprisingly find Journal des Femmes (17 appearances on the first page of SERPs in two weeks) followed by Sortir à Paris and the portal Francetvinfo.fr which each reached the first pages of organic results related to Coronavirus 11 times.
