1. Chinese startup NEV Xpeng launches intelligent horse bot
Chinese NEV startup Xpeng is launching its latest smart robot horse on Tuesday, according to its official WeChat account , which will be Xpeng's first smart vehicle for kids.

The horse robot was developed by Xpeng subsidiary Pxing based on its own four-legged robot. Pxing's official website revealed that the robot horse was inspired by a unicorn, with legs that include imitation joints.

The horse robot is equipped with an autopilot function, just like a vehicle, which can recognize its surroundings, plan routes, and avoid obstacles using cameras and radars. The horse robot can also identify users using various voice, facial, and gesture recognition tools.

Additionally, kids can ride the horse-bot and transport items while shopping, jogging, and hiking. Before its battery runs out, the horse-bot can organize its own charging plan and automatically return to its charging base.

The trial in the case is still ongoing.

Apple previously challenged the validity of Xiaoi's "Little Robot i" patent in response to a lawsuit filed by Xiaoi against Apple.

China's Supreme People's Court issued a final verdict in favor of Xiaoi's patent in June last year, upholding the patent's validity.

Xiaoi filed a lawsuit in the Shanghai Supreme People's Court in August 2020, demanding Apple stop infringing patents and seeking 10 billion yuan ($1.55 billion) in damages.
