In UA, “Pageviews” referred to the total number of pages a visitor viewed on your website. These include repeat views.
In GA4, the term "Views" refers to the number of pages and/or app screens a user sees on your website or app. It also counts repeat views.
Previously, UA measured app data (like screen views) in a different property. GA4 merges website and app data into the same property. So if you track your website and app in GA4, keep in mind that the views metric contains data from both.
Unlike UA, GA4 does not have "unique pageviews" as a metric.
Instead, the Pages and Screens report contains "views", "users", and "views per user", along with other metrics.
Pages and screens are presented in GA4 format, with metric column names highlighted.
Some marketers rely on the “Users” metric as an alternative to unique pageviews. This is the total number of unique active users who viewed a given page.
