Twitter users have spoken: they want Elon Musk to stop being the CEO of the platform

Post by samiaseo75 »

The Twitter audience has spoken (and what they have said does not seem to be good news for Elon Musk): the CEO of the social network launched a survey to ask users if they wanted him to step down as head of the platform and the final verdict has been a resounding "yes".

“Should I resign as head of Twitter? I will israel phone number data abide by the results of this poll,” wrote Elon Musk. Faced with this question, with 57% of the 17.5 million votes cast , the “yes” vote finally won over the “no” vote in a poll that ended at 12:30pm on Monday Spanish time (3:30am in Silicon Valley, where the company has its headquarters).

That is, 10,063,875 accounts have positioned themselves in favor of Musk leaving office, compared to the 7,438,516 that advocate his continuation at the helm of Twitter.

Elon Musk has not yet reacted to the news , but everything suggests that the founder of Tesla and SpaceX will accept the results. This means that he could stop being CEO of the blue bird network, although there is still the possibility that the South African tycoon, in one of the rebellious attacks that characterize him, turns the tables and remains in the position.

The rapper Snoop Dogg did speak out, though , and wanted to "make fun" of the tycoon by launching his own poll. In just four words, he asked his followers if he should take over Twitter, thus challenging Elon Musk with a poll that already has more than 1 million votes.

Elon Musk's weakness for polls is nothing new. He recently launched a poll to decide whether Donald Trump deserved to return to the social network , which effectively unblocked the former US president's account . Last year, for example, Musk used Twitter polls to sell a tenth of his Tesla shares.
