What is CPU?
The CPU is the brain saudi mobile numbers database of the server: it performs calculations, activities and tasks that are fundamental to the management of the machine. Processors are designed to handle heavy workloads, such as running database queries and other programming and calculation commands. It is therefore easy to explain why the response speed of a server depends so much on the CPU.
This speed (called clock speed) is measured in GHz (hertz). The higher the speed, the faster the processing.
How does a server CPU work?
The server CPU performs data processing and input/output (I/O) operations through mathematical and logical calculations. The sequence of this process can be divided into four phases, which repeat in a continuous cycle:
Fetch : The processor reads instructions from memory.
Decoding : The instructions are decoded, then translated.
Execution : This is the step that marks the execution of instructions by the CPU.
Storage : The parameters required for the instruction are stored in registers.
