When you want to start a web design project, it is important to know everything that the process entails. As we have already explained in previous posts, it is not just about using a template, since not just any website will do. If we want a website to work, it needs to have an appropriate design, as well as follow a plan . In this post, we explain the phases of web design that we follow to carry out a project.
1. Briefing and analysis of information
The first thing we do is to get acquainted with the initial idea of the project, either in a face-to-face meeting or video call. Knowing the objective of the viber phone number data website and gathering as much information as possible is crucial to having the basis of the project. For this reason, we ask our clients to fill out a briefing or document with the key elements of the project and requirements.

This document includes information about the business, website objectives, target audience, competitors or references, among others. With all this data we identify and analyze what the client wants. For example, the type of website they need: a corporate website, an online store, a one-page website, a blog, etc. And with all this we establish the strategy to follow.

2. Planning
Once all the information has been analyzed, we move on to the next planning phase. This is where we establish the foundations and all the steps to follow to meet the project objectives. Depending on what the project requires, the different tasks that correspond to each team member will be defined. Such as the web developer, the graphic designer or the SEO specialist.
In this phase we define the website map or sitemap. This gives us a clear idea of the information architecture of the website, the relationships between pages and content. We also create the wireframes or templates of the website structure, giving special importance to the user experience.
3. Design and prototype
To start the design stage and define the structure, the client must provide the necessary material, such as texts, images, logo and any graphic element that is essential for the design of the website. We need to know the visual elements of the brand, such as colors or fonts, or create a visual identity from scratch if we do not have one.
With all this, we designed several sketches and prototypes , presented through mockups, to show the client how the design would look. This way we know which one best suits the client and we can base it on that.

4. Content
In this phase we define and create the content of the pages, including texts, images and/or videos. This is an essential stage as it feeds the website. The content must be useful and respond to the needs of users, avoiding grammatical or spelling errors. In addition, it must contain the most relevant keywords for the business, an essential pillar of basic SEO.
5. Web development
Once the design has been accepted by the client, the web development phase begins. In this step, we are in charge of implementing the functionalities required by the project. To do so, we have previously selected the most appropriate content management system (CMS), such as WordPress. And in this way, the designers create the chosen design sketch in the CMS.
