ULAANBAATAR is a combination of the Guardian (customer care, eco-friendliness, durability) and Friend (trust, accessibility, support) archetypes.

Logo
The client already has a trademark and logo that he wished to keep. It is a black and white logo that reflects the minimalism and USP of the brand. The image of a mountain goat and the silhouette of the mountains emphasize the Mongolian origin of cashmere and the connection with nature.

In the presentation, we also added rules for the use and placement of the logo so that the consumer can better identify and distinguish it.

Additionally, we animated the logo so that customers could use it in presentation materials and on display screens in the store.


The signature colors: beige, brown and green symbolize the natural landscapes of Mongolia. These shades create a feeling of warmth, coziness and naturalness of materials.


Ornament and pattern
The traditional pattern of repeating geometric elements emphasizes the ethnic roots of the brand and is used for window dressing, packaging and advertising materials.


The circular pattern combines natural and cultural motifs of Mongolia. Visually, it adds authenticity and distinguishes the brand from its competitors.


The ornament combines geometry and natural motifs. The circle in culture means the infinite and eternal.

Accents
Red is used to create decorative accents that highlight the uniqueness of the design. This color is found on traditional Mongolian fabrics and symbolizes wealth and strength.


We also collected references of the photo style, the basis of which is photographs in warm shades with an emphasis on the quality of yarn and texture of fabrics. Natural exteriors, minimalist, calm background and natural posing without unnecessary effort and affectation - this reflects the idea of ​​well-being and harmony. In addition, for photographers, we have prepared requirements and technical specifications for the content.
