Getting your blog known is essential, not only at the beginning (when you launch it), but also as a regular activity. And to achieve this, networking with other bloggers is also very important.
Now, how do you promote your blog without investing money?
I participate in competitions like the Bitácoras Awards , the 20 c level executive list Blogs Awards , and the Internet Awards. I placed sixth in the Bitácoras Awards in 2013, and I'm participating in the other two competitions.
Collaborate with other blogs by guest-blogging: this will help expand your personal brand and generate inbound links to your blog. Here, for example, is my collaboration on the "Ideas para tu empresa" blog for Vodafone Business.
I participate in collaborative activities such as online conferences and webinars, white papers, etc. For example, on March 30 and 31, 2017, I participated as a speaker at the free online conference "Digital & Social Media Marketing" with 31 other professionals from eight countries. I also collaborated on the Madrid School of Marketing's White Paper on "Digital Innovation and Transformation" and AulaCM's MKT Magazine , among other projects.
Attend in-person events and conferences, either as a speaker or as an audience member. There are many events all over Spain: EBE in Seville, The Inbounder, SEOnthebeach, eCongres Málaga… I participated in some, such as Congreso Web Zaragoza and Innova Bilbao , as a speaker in 2016.
