The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has forced nations to face the challenge of combating the health and economic crises that have been spreading across the world. Faced with a scenario of public calamity, with a high volume of diagnoses and deaths caused by the new coronavirus, the global health system finds itself on the brink of collapse.

With technology as an important ally today, telemedicine can be understood as a method of supporting remote diagnosis, which allows the interpretation of exams and the issuing of medical reports. With the support of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), it works through the combination of digital equipment, software, use of the internet and the participation of qualified specialists.
