Last year in 2015, Russian e-commerce sales were $20.3 billion (approximately 243.6 billion yen) (calculated at 1 USD = 120 JPN), and e-commerce sales have been increasing by 42% every year, and this trend is expected to continue in the future.

In addition, looking at the number of users accessing e-commerce sites, 80% are accessed from PCs, 12% from tablets, and 8% from smartphones.
The categories with the highest demand are fashion items such as clothing and shoes, and 3C electrical appliances. The centers of the online shopping market are Moscow and St. Petersburg, but with the development of infrastructure, it is expected to spread to regional cities in Russia and continue to expand.
