Why no B2B company can do without social media marketing

There are still a surprising number of B2B companies that believe that social media marketing is not really relevant for them. A common argument that we as an agency hear from our clients: "Our target group is not on Facebook or Instagram."
Can this be?
This is almost impossible given the high number of users of these networks. But B2B social media marketing is primarily about other social networks that many people still perceive primarily in the context of networking - namely LinkedIn and XING.

However, many companies are more or less only represented by individual employees with personal profiles. They neglect the corporate side, which can lead to fatal dependencies.
