Too many emails can burn out your subscriber list. Too few emails can kill your revenue.

So, how can you maximize deliverability? You send just the right number of emails. The only way to find the perfect number is to test thoroughly, but that’s not easy. Also, it takes a long time, during which you’ll probably make some mistakes.

A good benchmark is one email per week. As long as you have really good content, you can try to scale up to twice a week. You can even go back to once a month without completely losing touch with your audience. But if you go beyond either of those boundaries, you’re in dangerous territory.

Use branding in your “from” name.
Using your brand name in the “From” line will help reduce spam complaints. It’s also been shown to increase open rates.

Some companies are increasingly hiring a front person (individual) to lead their email marketing in order to give it a more personal feel. You can still use this approach. Just add "from [company name]" after the individual's name.

Check the blacklist.
If you are having delivery issues, or even if you are not having issues, it is a good idea to check the blacklists. These DNS based blacklists were created to protect users from IPs that have received a large number of spam reports.

Make sure your IP is not on this list.

I did a quick check of IP MX Toolbox using the following command . The report looks good. I can sign up for ig database the free monitoring service if I want.

For email marketing to be effective, the emails must be delivered.

This is step one. After that, you can go crazy creating killer subject lines and powerful email content.

We sent over 60 million emails in 2020. That’s a lot of emails, and it seems risky. But I’ve been able to use my large email list to increase revenue and boost engagement.
