Sellers will be able to send goods for storage and delivery via Russian Post. For this, the Post cooperates with the express delivery operator "Darkstore at home", Vedomosti reports .
The operators offer sellers two services: delivery and acceptance of goods. The Post Office will take on the storage, processing and transportation of orders, and Darkstore will provide software that will allow managing warehouses and transportation. The new format is currently being tested in Moscow, Kazan and Krasnodar. To use the service, the seller needs to leave a request on the Post Office website.
How the delivery will work : the goods will be stored either in 1,507 Darkstore locations or in Russian Post offices — it will allocate 325,400 square meters of free space for this. After receiving the application, the order will be collected in 5-7 minutes and delivered to the buyer within 30 minutes.
Sellers will be able to rent a place on a shelf measuring 100×50×50 centimeters, which gcash database will cost 3,600 rubles per month. Acceptance, storage, assembly and delivery of the first 30 orders per month will be included in the price, then — 85 rubles per order. Sellers will pay for express delivery of goods to the buyer according to the rates of the marketplaces: 400 rubles on Wildberries, 350 rubles on Ozon and 5% of the order value, but not more than 500 rubles on Yandex Market.
How the acceptance will work : sellers will be able to hand over goods to any of the 38,000 branches of Russian Post. The operator will send them to its own logistics centers, and after receiving the order, transfer them to the sorting centers of the marketplaces. The service will cost from 70 to 210 rubles per order, depending on the dimensions of the goods.
