The second China International Supply Chain Expo, which concluded on Saturday, gave visitors a rare glimpse into the complex supply chain of Apple Inc, which hosted a joint exhibition with four select Chinese suppliers at its booth.

Chinese partners produce speakers and other devices, as well as packaging boxes for Apple, and are leaders in their niches.

Unlike other exhibitions that focus on promoting finished products, CISCE, which kicked off in Beijing on November 26, puts an emphasis on supply chain cooperation.

Apple's booth at CISCE did not feature popular Apple products. Instead, it featured disassembled iPhone parts from Crystaloptech, Goertek, LY itech and other Chinese suppliers.

The US tech giant, which boasts a huge supply chain in China, also brought three of its Chinese suppliers to the first CISCE last year.

“ I’m very proud to have Apple here with our partners. We couldn’t antigua and barbuda email address do what we do without them ,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook on November 25 while touring the Apple booth at CISCE.

During a visit to Shanghai in March, Cook reaffirmed the company's long-term commitment to the Chinese market by opening Apple's largest retail store to date on the Chinese mainland.

" There is no supply chain in the world more important to us than China ," Cook said.

He noted that to achieve mutually beneficial results, Apple will strengthen long-term cooperation with its Chinese supply chain partners and work closely with them on green and smart manufacturing, in which Apple has invested $20 billion over the past five years.
