Why, though, do modern customers still respond so well to email marketing? One way to think of this is that email remains the most “low-pressure” marketing technique.

Modern audiences (especially Millennials) really hate receiving phone calls, preferring instead to text. Because of this, many companies use social media to reach customers, allowing someone hesitant to make a phone call to send a DM instead.

Perhaps this is why recent research discovered that 60% of consumers indicated that email was their preferred way to receive updates and promotions!
