n our experience, it is never advisable to select the first option for editing permissions, "edit all" on the board, because if a user, by mistake or omission, deletes a column, record, etc., this can seriously harm the configured workflow . There are different types of permissions to allow users to work in a more orderly and secure manner.

Editing Permissions
There are 4 different options to edit a board here:

Edit All – This means that everyone subscribed to the board can edit the content and structure of a board.
Edit Content – Allows users with “non-owner” access to the board to create, edit, and delete items, but without the ability to change columns or structure. This is typically the most appropriate permission level for most workflows.
Edit by assignee : This is similar to the previous permission, but adds a restriction, where the content can only be edited by the user assigned to that task or item. Available only in the Pro and Corporate plans.
Read-only : Only board owners can change the structure and content of the board. Others can view, download files, and leave comments or updates.
Viewing permissions determine whether czech republic telegram data or not board owners want all users with access to the board to be able to see all items or only those assigned to them. This ensures greater data protection. There are two viewing permission options:

View All – This is the default option that allows users to see all items on the board. Remember that viewing and editing are different concepts.
View assigned items: Helps users assigned to an item in a person column only see that specific item on the board and not another. Very useful for example for salespeople to only see the accounts assigned to them, to mention one use case.

Permissions for each column
There are columns that are hidden or restricted from being edited for certain users, in order to keep only the information they need visible and to restrict more sensitive data without having to create another dashboard. There are two important points to keep in mind:

Owners can view and edit all columns, although they are restricted to others.
We recommend that all columns of sensitive information be restricted, whether in viewing or editing as appropriate. Column permissions help you create authorization processes and therefore give you the possibility of strengthening your process by creating control procedures for your Managers and middle managers.
