The Digital Services Act includes measures to counteract content that is negative for users. For example, a mechanism for users to easily flag such posts and for platforms to cooperate with so-called “trusted flaggers” or “notice and action” mechanisms.
Users themselves will be able to report list of gansu cell phone numbers illegal content and products they find online (hate, pirated products, etc.). Platforms will be obliged to respond quickly and effectively. At the same time, there will be controls on digital services.
Users are given the opportunity to challenge content moderation decisions made by platforms and request a change, either through an out-of-court litigation mechanism or a judicial appeal.
Another point is to prevent big tech companies from using sensitive user data (such as sexual orientation or race) to target ads. They will also be able to deny tracking of their activity when they use platforms such as Facebook.
The DSA includes two rules agreed by Parliament last month. On the one hand, it bans advertising aimed at minors . On the other, it completely rejects the use of “dark patterns” to maliciously induce users to accept the use of their data.
