Where are Web Stories visible?

Web Stories have been getting a lot of attention lately, and rightly so! This is a real challenge for all websites that can lose or gain a lot of traffic, especially via Discover. Because it is on Discover that Web Stories will be the most present.

The carousel display for Web Stories is a real challenge for sites and blogs! Indeed, you have to be as relevant as possible and take advantage of your notoriety in order to be present and if possible, as far as possible to the left of the carousel!

Web Stories on Discover

On the Discover mobile app, Web Stories take two possible forms.


This is a real novelty since their arrival only dates back to October 2020. In this form, Discover offers the Internet user a selection of Web Stories according to their affinities (thus following the turkey telegram data very principle of Discover). The user can therefore scroll through the different stories, represented in a rectangular format, also inherited from the stories made in Snapchat.

This carousel is located at the very top of Discover: it is the location that allows the biggest gain in traffic.

Please note that this display mode is currently only available in India, Canada and the United States.

2. The second possible form of Web Stories is a single card, located in the Discover feed.

This card has the advantage of being alone here, unlike the “Carousel” location mentioned above where you have to share visibility with other Web Stories . On the other hand, this location requires the Internet user to scroll a little before finding the card.

The single sheet is currently available in the US only.
