The Clubhouse business model has two layers: it allows users to tip content creators and helps them monetize their creative work. First called Talkshow, Clubhouse is a social audio chat app that launched during the pandemic to allow people to communicate by listening and speaking. That means it uses audio clips instead of text, and only an existing Clubhouse member can invite others to join. It was initially only available to iOS users, but Android users can now use it. The core idea that Clubhouse is built on is to strengthen friendships between people and connect them with new ones. The app has impressed many people for being a worthy rival to Facebook and Twitter .
