What are unemployment courses and what are they for?

You've probably heard of ' courses for the unemployed ', ' jobless courses ' or ' INEM courses ', but do you really know what these courses are? Why are they free ? Can anyone access them?

The previously called 'INEM courses' are now 'SEPE courses'. This body is known as the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) , which took over the functions of the INEM (National Employment Institute) in 2003, and that is why now, the INEM courses, as such, are no longer called that.
