Isn't he a glorious son of his Fatherland and an example for others? But the fact is that in just a few months, Hero of the Soviet Union Semyon Trofimovich Bychkov will betray his Motherland and comrades and will serve the enemy, fighting in the sky with his former comrades in arms.
On December 10, 1943, Bychkov's flight came under cashapp database fire from enemy anti-aircraft guns and the famous Soviet ace was shot down. The wounded Semyon was captured unconscious, but the enemy, having learned who was in front of him, did not leave the hero to die, but sent him to a military hospital. German doctors very quickly got the seriously wounded Bychkov back on his feet and the Gestapo immediately took him in hand.
Semyon was sent to the Moritzfeld concentration camp in Poland, which was specially created for captured pilots. This place was not a death camp - it was more like a traitor factory, where experienced German specialists in the carrot and stick recruited new soldiers and officers for the Fuhrer among the captured.
