Chinese tech giant Baidu Inc on Tuesday unveiled a new artificial intelligence- powered tool called "Miaoda" that allows users to become programmers without coding skills.
The new tool was unveiled during the Baidu World 2024 conference held in Shanghai.
Miaoda can coordinate various AI agents and program without coding. It can also use various tools on a large scale, according to Baidu Inc co-founder Robin Li.
The new product is currently open for pre-order and is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2025.
Li said at the conference that AI agents are the main form of AI application today and could soon experience explosive growth. According to him, AI agents are new carriers of content, information, and services.
Based on this forecast, Baidu Inc will focus on developing four categories of AI agents targeting companies, roles, tools and industries, Li said.
Baidu's AI agent platform has currently attracted 150,000 enterprises and 800,000 developers.

Other innovations from Baidu Inc
On Tuesday, "Wenxin iRAG" was also released. Based on search and aruba email address augmented generation technology, the new product combines Baidu's image resources with basic modeling capabilities to generate various hyperreal images. It can greatly improve the usability of AI-generated images. Without requiring any costs, the new product can instantly provide images and solve the problem of hallucinations.
“The biggest change in the AI industry in the last 24 months is that LLMs have basically eliminated hallucinations,” says Lee.
At a meeting on Tuesday, Baidu Inc unveiled a tool called "Free Canvas." It allows users to freely drag and drop documents, audio, video, and other media onto a "canvas-like" interface to quickly create multimodal content. The tool will help users search for information, edit, generate content, and share the results.
The company also unveiled new AI-powered glasses that combine first-person shooting, encyclopedia, audio-visual translation, smart notes, and more. The glasses will be available to consumers in the first half of 2025.
